Inspired by evolving industry trends and the success of early adopters of
shared services, the Hirdaramani Group recognised the strategic advantages
of centralising key business functions. This included cost savings, improved
operational
efficiency, and better resource allocation. As a result,
H-Connect was established as a collaborative initiative, uniting teams
across business units under a unified shared services model to drive
enterprise-wide value.
As an integral part of the Hirdaramani Group, H-Connect was established in 2012 to support the Group’s expansion and diversification initiatives. From our humble beginnings with just eight employees, we have grown exponentially into a team of over 140 highly skilled professionals dedicated to enabling Finance, IT, HR, and Project Management teams to focus on value-driven initiatives such as forecasting, analysis, strategic planning, and process innovation.
With a strong emphasis on end-to-end processes, we have solidified our position as the operational powerhouse of the Hirdaramani Group—centralising and streamlining critical business functions across its diverse portfolio.
Leveraging the Hirdaramani Group’s 125-year legacy as a billion-dollar conglomerate, H-Connect operates as a dynamic process hub and one of Sri Lanka’s premier shared services providers. We are committed to fostering a collaborative environment that promotes shared service integration. This approach emphasises collective strength over internal competition, optimises resource allocation, and enables professionals to drive strategic initiatives that fuel sustainable business growth.
