I began my career journey in 2021, as a trainee software engineer. Full of curiosity, ambition, and a desire to make an impact through technology, I’ve worn multiple hats throughout my career, from Software Engineer and Business Analyst, to System Designer, External Client Handler, and Data & AI Specialist. Each role has added value to my expertise and broadened my understanding of end-to-end solution design.
Today, as a Solution Architect and Data Analytics leader at H Connect, my mission is to bridge the gap between business goals and technology, creating intelligent, scalable systems that empower better decision-making.
One of the most rewarding parts of my journey was leading the implementation of AX 2009 and D365 ERP systems, as well as contributing to the design of our in-house HMES system. It covers essential modules like QMS, FI, Skill Matrix, and Machine Inventory. I’ve also led impactful projects across mobile app development, SharePoint solutions, Microsoft Fabric and Power BI analytics, and machine learning models for predictive analysis.
What truly sets H-Connect apart is its culture of trust, flexibility, and continuous learning. As a mother of two, finding a workplace that respects both personal commitments and professional aspirations was important to me. With over 15 years of experience in the finance domain, my professional journey has been both diverse and rewarding. I’ve worked across core finance functions, including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Taxation, and Treasury, gaining holistic insights into the financial operations that drive a successful business.
In 2015, I joined H-Connect, and what began as a new chapter has grown into nearly a decade of continuous learning, leadership, and impactful contribution. Today, I have the privilege of managing the Treasury function for the Hirdaramani Group, overseeing over 270 bank accounts across 30 legal entities, a role that blends strategy, precision, and market foresight.
One of my most meaningful achievements here has been playing a key role in establishing a centralised treasury function at H-Connect. This transition unlocked strategic advantages and introduced greater visibility, control, and efficiency across the group’s financial operations.
At H-Connect, innovation is more than a buzzword, it’s a mindset. The company has also been a strong advocate of my personal and professional growth. Through tailored technical and leadership training programs, I’ve been able to refine my skills, expand my knowledge, and develop market analysis and forecasting capabilities that help us navigate financial volatility and capitalise on emerging opportunities.

My professional journey with H-Connect began in 2019 as a Subject Matter Expert in Business Management. Since then, I’ve embraced several roles that shaped my career path, from Junior Account Lead for BPO, to joining the PMO team, and later moving into Business Transformation as a Junior Executive in 2020. In 2021, I was promoted to Process Analyst, continuing within the same team.
In December 2021, I briefly stepped away to explore new horizons, but the values and culture at Hirdaramani drew me back. In February 2024, I rejoined the Group as a Manager – Projects for the Group IT team. Over the years, I’ve spent nearly 4 years at H-Connect and Hirdaramani, and I can confidently say this is where most of my corporate development has taken place.
At H-Connect, I was fortunate to be surrounded by supportive, driven teams who challenged me to reach my fullest potential. I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to several impactful projects that align with the organisation’s vision for growth and innovation. I was part of the Trivium Educational Project under the BPO division, which successfully enhanced learning outcomes. I contributed to the Shared Services Process Study for the Ambeon Group, focusing on improving operational efficiency through refined processes.
One of my key milestones was leading the ERP Implementation for Vietnam, ensuring smooth deployment and effective user adoption, and I continue to support the upcoming ERP Implementation for Sri Lanka. I also played a pivotal role in the HRIS Implementation in Sri Lanka, which automated and streamlined HR operations. As part of the company’s digital transformation journey, I supported the GSD Cloud Migration, aided in centralisation and the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), particularly for HR, and actively contributed to Group IT’s Digital Roadmap Initiatives, driving innovation and long-term strategic alignment.
Each of these projects has given me the opportunity to improve cross-functional collaboration, streamline workflows, and align outcomes with the organisation’s long-term strategic goals. I remain deeply committed to continuous learning, collaboration, and driving meaningful change. My mission is to lead projects that make a lasting impact, while fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and sustainable progress at H Connect.

Since joining H-Connect three years ago, I’ve been entrusted with managing the salaries of over 18,000 employees across Hirdaramani’s Apparel and Non-Apparel sectors, from SMOs to Directors. The company’s dynamic environment and focus on career growth drew me in, and it continues to be a place where I can thrive.
One of my proudest achievements has been leading the introduction of a new HRIS system for Hirdaramani Apparel Sri Lanka, which significantly enhanced payroll and HR processes. I also played a key role in centralising payroll operations across Sri Lanka, streamlining functions under one department, and later extending this success by integrating Non-Apparel payrolls. This initiative transformed our unit into a centralised hub for payroll-related information, supporting senior leadership with accurate and timely insights.
At H-Connect, I’ve had the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally, thanks to the organisation’s commitment to training, leadership development, and innovation. The trust placed in leaders to make decisions has strengthened my confidence, accountability, and decision-making abilities. It has also sharpened my attention to detail, especially in handling complex payroll structures.
My mission is to become a recognised industry leader, known for my domain expertise and strong power skills. H-Connect aligns perfectly with this vision, as the company continuously operates with a sense of purpose, integrity, and value-driven leadership.
